Emissions Reduction Targets
Care 247 Solutions aims to:
Reduce total GHG emissions by 50% by 2030 (compared to 2022–23 levels).
Achieve Net Zero by 2050.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease to 7.5 tCO₂e by 2030, representing a 50% reduction.
Carbon Reduction Projects
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives:
Since the baseline year, Care 247 Solutions has:
- Switched to 100% renewable energy in our office.
- Implemented hybrid working policies to reduce commuting.
- Upgraded to energy-efficient lighting (LED).
- Reduced paper use via digital care record systems.
- Implemented recycling and waste reduction schemes.
- Encouraged car-sharing and public transport use.
Emission reductions from these measures total approximately 2.8 tCO₂e, an 18.7% reduction from the 2022 baseline.
Future Carbon Reduction Initiatives
Planned future actions include:
- Transition to an electric vehicle fleet by 2028
- Tull implementation of paperless systems.
- Conduct carbon literacy training for staff.
- Collaborate with suppliers to lower indirect emissions.
- Evaluate and implement carbon offsetting for residual emissions.
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and the associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported in accordance with the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and use appropriate government conversion factors. Scope 1 and 2 emissions are reported in line with SECR requirements. Scope 3 emissions have been reported using the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
This CRP has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors.
